Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Relate (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information in connection with our services — RELATE AI, website development, and business advisory. We operate under Israeli law, including the Privacy Protection Law 5741-1981 and the Privacy Protection Regulations (Data Security) 5777-2017. If you are located in the European Union, we additionally comply with the GDPR, as Israel holds EU adequacy status for data protection purposes.
1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect
We collect personal information in the following ways:
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Contact and inquiry forms: name, email address, phone number, company name, and the content of your message.

2.3 RELATE AI service (WhatsApp)
For businesses that use RELATE AI, customer conversations processed through the WhatsApp Business API are handled on behalf of the business client (our customer). In that context, Relate acts as a data processor and the business client is the data controller for their end-customers’ data. Each business using RELATE must have its own legal basis for processing their customers’ WhatsApp conversations.

4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: hosting providers, email delivery services, scheduling tools, and analytics platforms that process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
- WhatsApp Business API: RELATE operates through Meta’s WhatsApp Business API. Message data passes through Meta’s infrastructure under their terms and data processing agreements.
- Legal requirements: where required by Israeli law or lawful government request.
- Business transfers: if Relate is sold or merges with another entity, personal information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to equivalent privacy protections.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary:
- Inquiry and contact data: up to 3 years from last contact, unless a business relationship develops.
- Client records: 7 years from the end of the business relationship, in accordance with Israeli accounting and tax law.
- RELATE conversation data: as defined in the service agreement with each business client.
- Website analytics: aggregated and anonymised; raw data retained for up to 14 months.

7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

- Analytics cookies: to understand how visitors interact with the site (e.g. Google Analytics). These are loaded only with your consent where required.
- Marketing cookies: we do not use retargeting or advertising cookies.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use the site.
8. Data Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. See our Security Policy for details.

Our services may involve transferring data to infrastructure outside Israel (e.g. cloud hosting in the EU or US). Where we transfer data outside Israel, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — including standard contractual clauses or transfers to countries with adequate data protection as recognised by Israel or the EU.
10. Children
Our services are directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information through our services, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
